How do commissions work?

How do commissions work?

Our commission fee  for each project starts  at  13% -but can be adjusted by cleaning partner before CCP submits proposal.  You can see what commissions we have been earning… click here

When cleaning partner initially gets project information, a commission amount will be displayed and may be lower than 13% depending on projects size/ expected contract value.

CCP has earned 1% on project to be awarded project.

Commission % will stay the same for full contract and will be applied to all change orders, whether negative or positive

If you make no profit, CCP will not charge any commission.  We will void our invoice to you
We\’re more interested in completing the project for our contractor customer than our CCP Network cleaning partner does not complete a contract

Who submits the proposal to the contractor?

Who submits the proposal to the contractor?

CCP will submit the proposal on behalf of cleaning company.  The cleaning company name and address will be in proposal and the contractor will create a purchase order/contract from the submitted proposal.  For us to be awarded/ start work, we must have written notification from the contractor.  This shall come in an email form usually

Who determines the bid price for a cleaning project?

Who determines the bid price for a cleaning project?

We broker hundreds of post construction cleaning jobs every year, and we can usually make a very close bid based on the type of construction project and the floor plans. We\’ll give you our best estimate for a bid before your site visit, so you have a baseline to work from.

If you think you can do it for less (and have a better chance of winning the proposal) just tell us. Likewise, if you think our bid is too low after your site visit, let us know so we can adjust.

YOU are in control of the bid price, and you have the final say. We are here to advise and help you win the project.

What happens after I\'m awarded a new cleaning contract?

What happens after I\'m awarded a new cleaning contract?

CCP\’s main role is to find you more work, and after the project contract is signed we\’ll generally step out of your way.

We\’ll find you the leads, follow up with them until we can arrange your site visit, and  prepare & submit all bid packages & proposals (with your input) until the contract is finalized.

Once your project is awarded, you\’ll need to submit the standard documents like insurance, certified payroll, and invoicing (remember you\’ll always get paid from the contractor directly).

If you need help with anything, at any stage of the project cycle, just ask – we\’ve seen it all and are more than happy to guide you through it.

We\’ll work with you to complete the accounts receivable, and get you paid. We\’re also always happy to help with any post contract paperwork, if needed.

Will I be competing with your other cleaning partners for a project?

Will I be competing with your other cleaning partners for a project?

No. When we contact you with a potential project, it means we think you\’re the best fit for the job – so we\’ll reserve the opportunity for you and you only, unless you\’re unresponsive or tell us you\’re not interested.

When we have 2 partners in the same territory, we create a primary partner, and a secondary partner. We\’ll present all projects to our primary partner first, until primary partner declines 10 projects within 70 miles, or they\’re just too busy to take on any more work.

This means it\’s a huge benefit for you to become a partner  now,  and lock in a primary partner status as soon as you can! Click here to fill out a cleaning company profile and become a partner – (remember, there are no contracts and no obligations)

As of February 2015, CCP has about 300 active cleaning partners spread across the United States.

What happens if I\'m not interested in one of the projects you send me? Am I under any obligation?

What happens if I\'m not interested in one of the projects you send me? Am I under any obligation?

If you are too busy or the project isn\’t appealing to you, for whatever reason, no problem – just tell us.

You\’re under no obligation to take any of the work we present to you, and a project isn\’t a good fit, we\’ll simply present it to another cleaning partner.

As we work together, we\’ll adjust to your specific needs and capabilities to make sure we find you projects that are a better fit for your business. The more information you give us about what type of projects you want, the better we can help you.

Do I have to make a site visit to win a project contract?

Do I have to make a site visit to win a project contract?

Yes. It\’s better for everybody, especially you, if you make a site visit before we finalize and submit a proposal to the general contractor.

This will give you a much better chance of being awarded the project, and will eliminate any risk of getting the bid wrong, and losing profit.

CCP makes this easy for you. We\’ll pre-scope the project before you visit the job site, giving you an idea of what\’s involved, and a baseline bid to adjust as you assess the site for yourself. We also arrange a convenient time for your site visit with the project manager.

*Under special circumstances, (if the contractor is looking for cleaning bids before they\’ve been awarded a construction project) we\’ll submit a bid without a site visit, always with your permission. But this is rare. We always try to keep you protected by seeing the site for yourself.

What happens if something goes wrong, and I don\'t make a profit? Do I still owe you a commission?

What happens if something goes wrong, and I don\'t make a profit? Do I still owe you a commission?

No. You\’re profit always comes first, and we would never expect to make more than you do on a project.

Our guarantee is simple: Your profit will be at least double our commission, or you owe us nothing. (Your profit will usually be much more than this).

A major benefit of working with us is we can help you to avoid  the situations where you\’d lose profit for some reason.

First, we  only look for projects where you\’re likely to make a good profit. We don\’t mess around with very small jobs or anything that seems risky.

We\’re also experts at pre-scoping each job, communicating clearly with project managers, and creating solid contracts that protect your profit margin. If the project scope changes, we\’ll help you submit change orders to bill for any additional work.

Basically, if there are issues that come up, we\’ll be in your corner – your success is our success.

How do I get paid? How long does it take?

How do I get paid? How long does it take?

You\’ll bill the contractor directly, and get paid from them. For most construction clean jobs the average time to get paid is within 30 days of bill date.  General contractors have different billing cycles; some once, some twice per month.

If you\’d like a specific set of payment terms, we\’ll present these to the GC, and they can either decline or accept. We can also help you negotiate if needed.

CCP performs due diligence on all of our construction customers, and we\’ll only present you projects from companies that regularly pay their subcontractors on time.

In the end, if you don\’t get paid, we don\’t get paid, so it\’s in our interests to help you get money in the bank!

How exactly do you find new projects for me? Can\'t I just do this myself?

How exactly do you find new projects for me? Can\'t I just do this myself?

We\’ve built a very extensive and always-growing list of contacts in the construction industry across the United States, and we\’re keep in regular contact with them, relentlessly asking two simple questions, \”can we clean your building?\” and \”when can we start?\”.

Of course you could do this yourself, but it takes a lot  of time, energy and organization to get results. This is what we do. We\’re good at it. We\’re sending over 10,000 emails a month.

If you already have a well running outbound marketing system in place for your cleaning business, and have more work than you can deliver, then you probably don\’t need to partner with us.

On the other hand, if your business could use more cleaning jobs, and you\’d prefer to spend your time doing something other than sending dozens of emails per week, filling out stacks of paperwork, and driving around town cold-approaching construction sites,  partnering with us would be a very smart move to grow your business.

By becoming a partner, you\’re basically bringing on an experienced outbound sales team, with no risk or upfront cost.  So try us out. There\’s no real risk for you.

Almost all of our partners stick with us long-term for a simple reason: we make them more money, with less stress.
