What is your commission structure?
The CCP Basic Member who chooses their project on the Job Match page pays either 5% or 10% commisisons on the total contract amount. We will withdraw 5% on Friday at 5pm EST the week of the contract award. Ex. if we are awarded a project on Tuesday, (we get an email from PM saying the project has been awarded to you, here is a PO) then on Friday we will draw 5% of that contract amount. There is no invoice for the CCP Basic Member. Consider the receipt from when you choose commissions on the Job Match page your invoice.
Then the 10% will be withdrawn once we are notified you have been paid from the General Contractor. We prefer to be notified by our cleaning partner, that you have been paid. CCP has an idea of when you are paid and we will follow up with the project manager or accounts payable rep from the General Contractor to confirm that you have been paid. We will forward the email to you that you have been paid and we will withdrawal the 10% of the total contract amount that week. Yes its possible the total contract amount can change from start to end of a project. There can be positive or negative change orders that affect the total contract amount.
If you are a CCP Premium Member, you can make your commission amounts up and pay us once you are paid. We always recommend you pay CCP 10%, but once you visit the site and realize you can win the project if you pay CCP 4%, we will agree to accept the lower commissions.
There are no commissions paid if your a CCP Basic Member or Premium Member if there were issues on job that causes you to loose money. If you are kicked off the job for any reason, or if you quit the job. CCP will void all invoices or not withdraw any money from your card if you can prove that their was an issue that caused you to loose money. Usually these issues are brought up to CCP in an email while they are operating/ on the job issues are happening.
If you do not win the project, we will not chose commissions, CCP can only withdraw commissions from our cleaning partner if you are awarded the contract from the General Contractor for the job that you selected commissions on. So if you pay the $1 and choose 5%, then you make a site visit, but the proposal is declined, then you do not owe CCP 5% commissions of your proposal amount.
